1K a year The Scheduling Team Support position will assist with the development of the CAF Consolidated Planning Schedule (CPS) using the HHQ Scheduling Construct and inter-MAJCOM agreements and coordinate it throughout the CAF Scheduling Integrated Product Team (SIPT) for approval.
Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:
Assist with the preparation of staff packages defining CAF scheduling issues and provide options as well as proposed courses of action to ACC leadership for their approval.
Assist with the preparation of and present briefings pertaining to the CAF exercise schedule, CAF alignment and AEF schedule on an as required basis.
Conduct analysis utilizing internet scheduling tools (e.
g.
FORTRESS, DRRS, and JCRM) and other software to more efficiently align AF aviation units in support of contingencies, exercises and training events.
Advise ACC/A3O on how best to program, manage and schedule CAF forces to include fighter, bomber, and Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) aircraft, and rescue forces in support of deployment and employment in contingency operations, such as Operations Enduring Freedom, Operation Noble Eagle (ONE), the Global Response Force and the NATO Response Force.
Assist with the completion of Joint Contingency Sourcing Exercises, Joint Combat Capability Assessment (JCCA), and TRANSCOM Operation-Logistics (OPSLOG) analysis to evaluate Combatant Command Operational Plan effectiveness and feasibility.
Coordinate with other Combatant Commands to review and correct Operational Plans to include but not limited to, DCAPES records, UICs, basing decisions, aircraft amounts and required capabilities.
Assist with the review, and revision of Quarterly Apportionment Tables.
Using the web-based FORTRESS tool, advise ACC/A3O on how best to plan, schedule, and coordinate CAF aircraft for short-notice contingency events, command level training events and Joint/MAJCOM level exercises.
Assist with the coordination of operational issues with the Joint Staff, Air Staff, United States Air Forces Europe (USAFE), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), Air Reserve Component (ARC) and Air National Guard (ANG) staffs.
Provide CAF scheduling expertise to the ACC/A3O representative on the ACC Contingency Action Team (CAT).
This may include responding to the CAT during crisis situations outside of normal duty hours.
Advise ACC/A3O on the management of the entire AEF scheduling process integrating ACC and other CAF units with Combatant Command Requirements and obtain concurrence of all involved organizations for each new AEF schedule.
Review annual CAF Force Offering and determine Reserve Component Man-Days required for execution.
Work with the Air Staff, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, CAF organizations, and the ACC staff to assist with the formulation of future force requirements for weapon systems and air operational capabilities, to ensure that both Joint and Service requirements are met.
Advise ACC/A3O on the integration of new weapons system capabilities into the AEF Schedule while maintaining the operational capability and combat effectiveness for each AEF period.
Advise and assist with AEF scheduling process, ACC and CAF integration into Combatant Command requirements, Annual Force offering presentation, new weapons system integration, and Operational Plan effectiveness.
Advise and assist with ONE to include developing efficient scheduling paradigms, Wing leadership coordination, and interaction with the U.
S.
Secret Service, and NORAD/AFNORTH Staff.
Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
Perform other duties, as assigned.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
