We are looking to fill Full-Time, Part-Time Plus, and Part-Time positions.
Ideal candidates will have flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
RNs should also possess strong attention to detail, excellent follow through, and the ability to relate positively with residents, guests, and staff.
Retention BonusFull-Time RN or LPN positions offer a $5,000 retention bonus (paid out:
90 days - $1,250; 6 months - $1,250; 1 year - $2,500)Part-Time Plus RN or LPN positions offer a $3,500 retention bonus (paid out:
90 days - $875; 6 months - $875; 1 year - $1,750)Part-Time RN or LPN positions offer a $1,500 retention bonus (paid out:
90 days - $750; 6 months - $750) To receive a retention bonus, you must be employed at Williamsburg Landing in this role and not working out a notice of resignation.
REGISTERED NURSE (RN) JOB DUTIES Rounds on assigned residents at least twice per shift to ensure resident safety and implementation of the plan of care; makes rounds with outgoing and incoming nurse to discuss residents on caseload and observed changes Supervises CNA activities to ensure resident needs are met; obtains information from CNAs regarding response to care, changes in condition, or other information gathered during the shift; holds CNAs accountable for timely and accurate completion of scheduled vital signs and weights Performs professional nursing tasks and nursing procedures including venipuncture and intravenous therapy according to current standards, policies, and procedures Orders labs and medications per the physician's order; enters any new orders in the EMR and notifies resident's representative of new orders Investigate any incidents that occur during the shift and complete incident report.
Assign appropriate interventions to prevent future incidents Documents resident observations, changes in condition, response to care, delivery of medication and treatments, and other pertinent information according to departmental standards, policies and procedures Maintains and updates care plans as necessary Maintains positive and professional relationships with residents, guests, and other Williamsburg Landing employees Perform other duties as assigned REGISTERED NURSE (RN) QUALIFICATIONS Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia Two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred Ability to read and write effectively in English Ability to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner within 1 year of hire Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift Ability to safely lift and transfer residents Employees may be required to work overtime when conditions that affect business needs make such scheduling necessary.
