The Managerwill supervise and manage 24-hour operations.
Shift:
Days Management Incentive Bonus potential available with this position! Experience required 3 years:
Healthcare Management and Clinical Practice Care must have previous supervisory experience and BSN.
The Manager, Nursing Unit is responsible and accountable for the daily operations.
Performs work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff.
Interviews, hires, and develops team members with the goal of developing a highly effective work team.
Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.
This is a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit where we care for patients on telemetry monitoring.
The patients are here to determine the next step needed in their care - which may be a Cardiac Cath, transfer to the heart hospital for surgery on their heart, or having a diagnostic test such as a stress test or echocardiogram.
Sentara CarePlex Hospital is a 224-bed, acute care hospital, Certified Primary Stroke Center and a Magnet facility located in Hampton, Va.
The hospital provides care through advanced surgical programs, emergency cardiac intervention, fellowship-trained physicians, and the newly opened Family Maternity Center.
