Job Description:
Storage AdministratorIn this role you provide modernization, integration and sustainment engineering, sustainment planning, systems/Software baseline testing, integrated cyber security support, Enterprise Services Support, cloud migration, and Hardware/Software installation and removal services for the integrated sustainment of the Enterprise Product Support (EPS) teams in Langley AFB VA.
This includes lab support for operational, production, and test environments.
Responsibilities will include:
Performs technical analyses, documents results, draws conclusions, and makes recommendations to determine the system's effectiveness for possible improvements.
Provides design and implementation services, upgrades, and/or enhancements to Active Directory forests and domains to provide authentication and authorization services.
Reviews and enforces group policy, site replication; manages and maintains internal and external DNS; manages LDAP.
Ensures remote access to EPS systems is maintained in accordance with current guidance and operational needs.
Installs, maintains, and improves system configurations and solution.
Monitoring and auditing system utilization, performance, and problems.
Performs data migration tasks from direct attached storage and within SAN environments.
Uses storage management tools to discover, monitor, provision, and report on the storage infrastructure.
