Employment Period: 10 months as needed
Salary: $22.00 hour (grant-funded positions)
Brief Description
Provides English instruction to small groups of limited English proficient students in a pull-out setting.
Detailed Description
Provides English instruction to small groups of limited English proficient students in a pull-out setting/small group/one-on-one. Students will be newcomers to the country or low level 1 and 2 students.
Meets regularly with the classroom teacher(s) regarding student progress and needs.
Analyzes student progress to identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements
Must possess a bachelor's degree and have experience working with elementary and/or secondary school students.
Some experience working with limited English proficient students.
Some experience with language instruction.
Must possess knowledge of instructional best practices and instructional delivery techniques for limited English proficient students.
Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must be able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with teachers and administrators.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
