Job Details

Riverside Hampton Surgery Center is currently seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist.


Hampton Surgery Center is a fast-paced, ambulatory surgery facility that specializes in Ophthalmology and Orthopedic procedures. It has 2 Operating Rooms, and 4 Procedure Rooms, and utilizes state of the art equipment to deliver exceptional care.


Job
Summary:
Assists with the coordination of nursing care of the patient in the operating room and functions as a team member of the surgical team. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of equipment, instrumentation and supplies on the sterile field. Requires the cleaning and replenishment of equipment and supplies in order to maintain quality patient care. Responsible for the handling and management of specimens and surgical counts. Assumes the role of expert for specific surgical service, is responsible for monitoring the surgical schedule for equipment and supply needs, prepares for daily case readiness, supports the Specialty Nurse with the surgeon preference cards, and for identifying, communicating, and educating service changes.


Education:
Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program or equivalent.


Certification:
CST certification preferred



Experience:
Previous experience as a Surgical Tech preferred


Hours:
Full-time, Days 700am-3:
30pm, Mon-Fri, call & floating may be required.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
