Requirements Analyst
Key Role:
Serve as the technical focal point for supporting requirements planning for client SAPs, including providing operational, technical, and analytical assistance to document Joint Capability Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS) and other MAJCOM and Special Access Requirements. Assist with the drafting, review, and implementation of procedures, policy, systems capability definition and requirement documents, and guidance for incorporation into ACC operations. Interface with the Joint Staff, Air Staff, MAJCOMs, NAFs, OSD, AF TENCAP, Federally Funded Research and Development Corporations (FFRDCs), and other government organizations when performing duties associated with the client and represent the client at CAF requirements meeting and other SAP planning meetings. Provide advice and assistance to leadership in the areas of mission need and requirements analysis, concept of operations development, program trade-off analysis, and program roadmap creation that includes technology insertion, platform integration, and support planning. Provide support and advice regarding security integration of weapon systems to meet warfighter needs and regularly interface with acquisition, budget, and test communities to enable program execution. Plan, coordinate, and attend approximately six functions and conferences per year. This position requires up to 20% travel to CONUS and OCONUS areas.
Basic
Qualifications:
12 years of experience with DoD fighter operations
5
years of experience as an Instructor Pilot or Instructor Weapons System Officer
4 years of experience in DoD acquisition disciplines, including requirements analysis, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development, and logistics planning
4 years of experience with SAP required
Experience as a rated pilot or Weapons System Officer in an DoD fighter aircraft
TS/SCI clearance
BA or BS degree
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
